WMU Stallions RSO meeting/practice
For my RSO meeting I went and skated with the Western Michigan Club Hockey team also known as the Western Michigan Stallions. We recieved information on the team such as costs etc. Then we had a skate at Wings West Arena. I enjoyed it very much because I played hockey my whole life and havent played since high school so it was nice to be back on the ice and learn information about the team. Overall I am glad that I had this opportunity.
Kalamazoo Art Museum
For my off campus activity I went to the Kalamazoo Art Museum with my friends Alex and Bryce. This was the first art museum I have been to in like five years. I forgot how much I enjoy going to these museums and enjoying the great art that this worl has to offer. My favorite exhibit Wadado by Leo Smith, I thought this piece was cool with all the colors it included it stood out to me. I enjoyed my visit to the museum and I am glad that I went.

University Band Concert
On Sunday November 20th I went to see the University Concert Band and also the University Symphonic Band. They played many songs that I had never heard before but I was able to get some enjoyment. This took place inside of the Miller Auditorium, there was not that many people at the concert, the auditorium was on half full. This is the 188th concert put on by Western Michigan University. The band was very big there was about 50-75 band members from all over the Midwest. I am glad I attended this play to experience the culture behind an event that I had never been to before.
Show Boat Play at Gilmore
On Friday November 18, I went to see the musical Show Boat put on by the Western Michigan Performing Arts. I found the play to be very interesting because the actors were very good. The theme of the play was about a show boat whos captains daughter falls in love with the main actor in the play. I not able to take a picture because photography is not allowed. But I am glad I went to this play.

Real Talk Native Americans
Me and Kyle Krupp attended the Real Talk on November 10, 2016. The real talk was about Native American Culture here in southeast, Michigan. They had four Native American speakers each told us their personal story with the difficulties of being Native American. I learned a lot about the history of American Indians and how there is about 2,300 tribes still in the United States. The name of one here in the Kalamazoo area is the Potawatomi Indians. I learned a lot of cool things at this meeting and I am glad I attended it.
Western Michigan Hockey Game
I attended the Western Michigan Hockey game on October 15, 2016. They played Bowling Green State Univeristy at Lawson Ice Arena. Western killed Bowling Green in a very exctiting and high scoring game. The final score was 8-2 Western. This improved Westerns record to 4-0. I enjoyed the hockey game and will definetely be attending more games.
